Description
You will learn how to use all main advanced features of the software and how to use it in your daily translation routine in order to enhance and boost your translation productivity.
Target audience
This course is addressed to professional translators who already know the basics of SDL Trados Studio 2015 or SDL Trados Studio 2017 and want to learn all new tricks and tips in order to enhance and increase their own translation daily productivity.

  • How to deal with Packages sent by an Agency.
  • How to manage Standard Projcts - Adding new documents to existing ones.
  • How to import and export TMs in TMX format and how to reverse the language pairs or modify the Sub-language code.
  • How to import and export terminology from MS-Excel or MS-Word files into an SDLTB TermBase.
  • How to translate PDF file format.
  • Alignment of legacy translations.

    Immediately after attending this webinar the learner will be able to create his own project with SDL Trados Studio 2019, both Standard Projects and Single File Projects. He/She will learn how to manage a TMX TM format received from an agency and convert it into an SDLTM format - Any Terminology List from MS-Excel or MS-Word file can be converted into SDL MultiTerm TermBase and connect it to any projects. The learner will get familiar with the translation of PDF files thanks to this excellent new feature provided by SDL Trados Studio 2019.

    Bio: Paolo Sebastiani is an English-Italian, French-Italian and German-Italian Professional Translator with over 20 years of experience in Italy and abroad. He obtained his first University degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Urbino in 1991 and his second University degree in Political Studies, at the same University in the year 2000. He founded his Translation Agency, Eurolingua, in 1994 and since then has been working as translator, interpreter and Cat-Tool official Trainer. He has organized many in-person training courses about Wordfast, SDL Trados and Atril Dejavu in different Italian towns and as a ProZ.com Professional Trainer, has run many Wordfast-PRO, Wordfast-Classic and Wordfast-Anywhere training sessions for progressive knowledge acquisition with excellent feedbacks.
