Recommendations

• For the visual section of the training course, we recommend that you have a 64kbps link. This means using an ISDN line or Broadband. Wireless connection is NOT recommended.
• For the audio section of the training course, we recommend that you have a headset or speakers.
• We recommend that you log in 30 minutes in advance of the start time to prepare for the training course.

Courses will be open half an hour before the start time. Please login before the start time to ensure that everything on your system is working correctly.

Bio: Lorena Baudo and Susana Vivas are English-Spanish Public Translators graduated from Facultad de Lenguas, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. They have upgraded their studies by participating in many post-graduate courses and seminars related not only to the translation arena, but also to Human Resources, Management and Leadership. They have more than 8 years of experience providing translation and revision services both as freelance and in-house translators. For the last two years, they have been working as Translation Team Leaders and are in charge of coaching, supervising the linguistic quality and upskilling 5 team members’ competences and potential. They have also developed and implemented a pyramidal and cyclical initiative to train in-house translators. This proposal is based on the training method and approach developed, enhanced and systemized by both professionals in the two translation teams. In other words, this initiative is clearly exemplified by three training methodologies carried out in said teams: General training: linguistic and technical training Specialized translation and edit training program Permalancer system
