Bio: Jamie Lucero has 10 years of experience as a French to English (FR/CA>US/CA) translator and translation tools expert. His translation specialties are in software, IT, technology, medicine, industry, energy, government/public works, and science. As a consultant, he has worked for both translation agencies and individual translators, providing training and implementing customized translation tool systems. Jamie is a graduate of the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, where he earned a master's degree in French to English translation (1998–2001).

1. Is there an online certificate provided for this course? If so...on to question 2: 2. I may not be able to make the live session. If I can't attend but review the materials and webinar, can I still get the certificate?

Although I've registered, I cannot attend but would like to watch/listen to a recording later the same day or the next day. Is this possible? Have looked at the FAQs on Free Webinars but they are silent on the question of recordings. Many thanks.

Hi Miriam, at this time certificates are not issued for attendance at the free webinars.
Hi Clive - the webibnars will be recorded and available for viewing with 48 hours of the live session.

I have organized quite a few of these webinars with Jamie in the past and he is one of the best, always receives high praise for the sessions. He will be showcasing many features and elements throughout the hour, and some may be a little advanced for you as a complete novice. The software program has a fully functioning demo (limited to 500 translation units in the TM) as well. The demo version and the webinar should get you started.

I am amazed to see the help that I get from our site(ProZ.com). I am only few days old member and when ever I place a problem, the solution comes in no time. I will defiantly download the trail version to give it a try, and I have registered for webinar also.

Unfortunately we had to postpone the webinar for April 30th, but we have made arrangements to conduct this webinar next Wednesday April 6th, at 15:00 GMT. This is the same time/day of the week we were to conduct today, so hopefully all will be able to attend this rescheduled session.
