Professional practices Lucia Baila endorses's Professional Guidelines (v1.1).
I'm an Italian native translator and I've been working as a freelance since 2009.

I also teach English as a foreign language to adult learners. I strongly believe in the importance of education, not only as a teacher. After I completed a Bachelor on Oriental Studies, I 've attended two Postgraduate Courses on Specialized Translation (fields of specialization: audiovisual translation, medical translation and localization) and a course on Business Japanese and I always keep up-to-date about new computer-assisted translation tools.

Audiovisual translation, adaptation and subtitling

Since 2009 I've been translating and adaptating television series, movies and animated series for dubbing agencies. (Among the others: Monsuno, House of Anubis, Gokujou! Mecha motte inchou!!, Grachi, Inazuma Eleven, Kirby, Pokemon, Masterchef, Bert and Ernie, Her Majesty, Digimon, Doraemon, Hemlock grove)

Furthermore, I collaborate with several translation agencies, translating a diversified typology of texts.
