Dear Sir/Madam,
As an experienced Iranian freelancer, I will be glad to be able to cooperate in your Persian-English-Persian translation/proofreading/transcription/subtitles/caption projects.
I am a native speaker of Farsi Language, 54, married, living in Tehran, Iran, and holding my DBA (Doctor of Business Administration), M.A. in TEFL. I have been teaching English for over 25 years in various Iranian universities, and once in China in 2005. I am now a retired civil servant, but still teaching in various Iranian universities and translating in different areas.
I have been a professional translator with over 15 books published so far, 100 domestic articles published in various domestic periodicals, and about 5 international papers presented in different countries; some of which are published. I was also the translator of Iran's First MDGs national report published by MPO and UNDP.
I had been also working for IRNA for 4 years as a Farsi-English translator, IRNA Farsi International Desk (1984-1988).
I am now both teaching in Islamic Azad university and Elmi-Karbordi varsities and cooperating with some Chinese and Indian (as well as Iranian) translation companies in the field of English-Farsi translation of catalogs and guidebooks.
