I am an English to French translator with over 12 years experience in the language industry.
I graduated in England after two years study in the Manchester area, and hold an M.A. in Translation from Salford University. Before becoming a freelance translator in December 2005, I worked as a Project Manager in an agency specializing in medical translation, and as a French teacher and translator.
My specialist areas are the following:

Medical instrumentation/pharmacology
My standard rate is € 0.10 per source word for general translations, € 0.12 per source word for medical translations, and € 30 per hour for proofreading.
I use SDL Trados 2007 Freelance, SDL Trados Studio 2014, and the Microsoft Office 2010 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
