I have experience working in-house for a localization agency, and have translated software, websites and technical texts for major IT, software and game companies as a freelance translator.
I can work with the following computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools: SDL Trados 2017, Wordfast, MemoQ, Idiom WorldServer and Passolo.
Every text I translate typically goes through two rounds of QA:
-Manual proofreading to ensure the translation is fluid and accurate
-Various checks using advanced tools, including Antidote, a very powerful spelling/grammar check tool, and Xbench (which checks for potential inconsistencies, missing translations, mismatched figures, double spacing...)
Quality: Grammar and spelling mistakes can turn prospects away and give a poor image of your company. I take pride in the quality of my work and never deliver a translation until I'm sure it is absolutely free of mistakes. You will give your prospects a professional impression, leading to improved sales.
Punctuality: Timing can be crucial when it comes to the release of software or hardware products. Always delivering on time is one of my golden principles. You can just relax knowing that your localized products will be ready right when you need them, for optimized profits.
Localization Expertise: Thanks to my background in software development, I am well aware of the challenges of localization and ready to help you every step of the way if you are new to localization for your software, mobile apps or video games.
Experience: HPE, EMC, Cisco, Microsoft, ASUS, Canon, Nintendo, Sony, Konami, Capcom... As a freelance translator, I am working with the most prestigious companies of the IT, software and video game industries (you can check a few of the games I was officially credited in on my MobyGames page. I can provide you with translations that match the big players in quality.
Trust: I am a certified PRO member on Proz.com and a member of both the Japan Association of Translators (JAT) and the JTF. I keep up with the latest developments of the localization industry and regularly publish localization tips on my blog.
