In 2000 I started translating texts from English and French into Spanish for the magazine at my University, followed by translations done for Rotaract (an International charity).
I obtained the Interpreter/Translator Certificate from The Berlitz Schools of Languages of America Inc. More recently, in 2011, I got the DPSI (Diploma in Public Service Interpreting) from the IoL Educational Trust.
My translation fields are: Official documents, such as birth, marriage, divorce certificates; Aviation; Online games; Localization; Insurance policies; IT related documents.
I work with SDL Trados, Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop.
I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK.
