I am a German native speaker with an university degree in translation (EN-DE, FR-DE) and have been working for a localization company specialized in games for over 2 years, translating, editing and proofreading a wide variety of games and all texts associated with them (including manuals, EULAs, marketing and website texts, subtitles for promotional videos, etc.).
I am especially experienced in fantasy and MMORPG-style games since I was one of the main editors for several free-to-play MMOs (volume of ~500 000 words +) while working as an In-house translator, but have worked on games from all genres (adventure, first/third person shooters, strategy, sports, quiz and social games) including AAA games.
