My name is Thiago Fico and I have been working with languages since 2002. I started as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher, became a PFL (Portuguese as a Foreign Language) teacher, and nowadays my focus is on translation/interpretation.
I graduated in Languages (Portuguese/English) from UFRJ, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and took lessons on subtitling translation at PUC-RJ. In a near future, I plan on getting an M.A. in Translation.
Besides the schools where I have taught, I have also translated and reviewed articles for Oracle Corporation, and other big companies in the software industry. I have been working for Information Builders, a major business intelligence company, since 2013.
I am specialized in IT, having worked on translation projects for Microsoft, Oracle, and Cisco.
