German is my native tongue, although I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I was home-schooled in German (written) and have taken German grammar courses in my later years.
My translation experience began in 1992, when I worked for a law firm which had several German clients (both locally and in Germany) requiring translations of legal (real estate and general legal) documents and correspondence to law firms in Germany.
I have provided in-house translation for several law firms throughout my years, which led to an incredible opportunity to work for the Department of Canadian Heritage in representing Canada at the World Expo in Hanover, Germany for six months. As a member of the hosting staff at the Canada Pavilion, it was my responsibility to assist visitors, interpret and translate information about Canada, including immigration, as well as participate in media opportunities (interviews and public events).
It is my goal to provide you with the best possible timely service and at a very competitive rate.
Feel free to contact me for jobs that require efficiency within my field of expertise.
