I grew up in France and I lived in the US for 14 years where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems. While in the US, I worked for an insurance agency for 9 years. I then moved to Quebec City, Canada, where I worked as a Business Analyst for iA Financial Group (life and health insurance, saving and retirement, mutual and segregated funds, securities...). After 8 years working in the Head Office in Quebec City, I worked in their Vancouver location where 20% of my job consisted in translating and proofreading emails, memos, forms and user guides as well as software localisation. During that time, I've obtained a Certificate in Translation from St. Boniface University in Manitoba and I have worked as a freelance translator for over 3 years now.
I also volunteer as a translator for Entrepreneursdumonde.org and for Global Voices. Some of the articles I've translated can be found here.
