Bio
I am a freelance translator, exceedingly competent in each of my languages, with extensive experience in a wide variety of specialty fields.
I have the advantage of a truly bilingual upbringing, and therefore speak both English and Russian at a native level. Additionally, I emigrated to Germany at an early age enabling me to fully master the language. Finally, having lived in France for a year, I chose French as my elective language during my studies.
Among other projects, my most impressive achievement has been translating for world-renown scientific institutes such as the Max-Plank Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI, and the Leipzig University Hospital. However, I do not confine myself merely to scientific texts and have also worked on a variety of cultural projects. The most impressive of which is the International Marianne Brandt Competition.
My specialty fields therefore include, but are not confined to, highly scientific texts and cultural projects. I have also worked in the fields of marketing and research, corporate translation, and website translation. My particular interests include literature, politics, and psychology. I have no problem with doing extra research to accommodate any topic or specialty field in question.
