Professional practices Benoit Chalifoux endorses's Professional Guidelines (v1.1).
I am a Quebec-born scientific translator and journalist, and a resident of France since 1995. My native language: French.

As co-redactor of Fusion, a French-language scientific magazine which I edited for just under a decade, I acquired considerable expertise in writing, editing and translating every type of scientific document (pure and applied sciences), from press releases to research documents through to pieces designed for the general public. At the present, I both write for, and translate for an important French-language Website.

As someone who is particularly interested in two branches of sciences, namely nuclear energy (including fusion) and space exploration, I keep abreast of developments in these and related fields. My watchwords: rigour, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
