Source text - English Scattered in human and animal genomes are a class of repetitious genetic elements called endogenous retroviruses (ERVs), which bear sequence homology to retroviral genomes. They constitute about 8% of the human genome. Evolutionists assume that all endogenous retroviruses are remnants of germ line infection by exogenous retroviruses. However, the essential beneficial function of some ERVs and complex interaction between ERVs and other host DNA sequences suggest that some retroviruses were created in the cell as part of the host genome. The original ERV elements were endowed with the ability to package themselves in proteins and lipids and leave the host cell as infectious particles. Thus we speculate exogenous retroviruses were derived from endogenous retroviruses (exogenization, as opposed to endogenization). The ability of retroviruses to transpose within the host cell or to infect another host may have been designed for protein-coding, for gene regulation, and for DNA repair by homologous and non-homologous recombination. After the Fall, retroviral elements have been degraded by mutations. Retroviral insertion into the host genome also became deregulated, causing insertional mutagenesis. Deregulation of exogenous retroviruses resulted in pathogenesis.

Source text - English Microsoft announced on August 14 that it will be launching Windows 8.1 on October 18, 2013.
Note that today's announcement didn't mention RTM (release to manufacturing) or MSDN/TechNet availability. I'm still hearing RTM is still a week-plus away (possibly on or around August 26) and that MSDN/TechNet and volume licensees won't get the RTM bits until October 18.
Why not earlier? In large part it's because Microsoft is making the Windows sausage differently these days.
We are no longer in the world where the Windows team has three years to plan, build, test, modify and then RTM a new version of Windows. Instead, since Windows 8, we've entered a world where Microsoft is giving itself about a year to perform all of those tasks.
Microsoft doesn't need to try to perfect Windows as much as possible before declaring it ready to RTM. The company can RTM Windows and then push patches, fixes and updates to it right up to the time it is generally available -- and continue on a regular basis after that. Supposedly, according to my sources, there will be at least one big batch of updates for Windows 8.1 and the Microsoft-built and bundled apps (like Mail, Xbox Music, the Bing apps, etc.) pushed out shortly before general availability.
Because of OEM requirements, Microsoft still needs to get PC makers the RTM bits a couple of months before they are expected to deliver new devices with those bits preinstalled. That's why Microsoft is RTMing Windows 8.1 in late August; that will give OEMs a couple months to test, optimize, add crapware (sadly), preload and package up those machines.
As things are different now, it's worth asking whether Microsoft will continue its recent practice of launching new flavors of Windows Server and Visual Studio in conjunction with each new release of Windows. Will Windows Server 2012 R2 and Visual Studio 2013 (which recently went to preview) also launch on October 18? The answer, for now, is yes, re: Windows Server, System Center 2012 R2 (and the next version of Windows Intune). No word yet on VS 2013.

Source text - Ukrainian Підлітковий вік є дуже важливим періодом в житті кожної людини. Це вік, в якому людина вже не дитина, але й не доросла людина. Мабуть кожен підліток стикався з проблемою, коли батьки щось не дозволяли, аргументуючи тим, що ще зарано користуватися благами дорослого життя; або примушували щось робити, примовляючи, що пора вже відмовлятися від дитячих привілегій. Це досить часто стає причиною «підліткового бунту», коли дитина намагається всілякими способами доказати, що вона вже доросла. Вона починає сприймати батьків, як контролюючу владу, що, в очах підлітка, втратила свою легітимність. Як наслідок, не в змозі вийти з-під контролю батьків, підліток починає пошук тих життєвих сфер, де він може продемонструвати свою владу хоча б над власним тілом. Можна припустити, що характерний для сучасності ранній початок статевого життя пояснюється саме підлітковим бажанням влади як атрибуту дорослості.
Translation - English Adolescence is an important period in life of every person. At this age an individual is no longer a child but not yet an adult. Perhaps every teenager faced with a problem when parents did not allow something, arguing that for him it's too early to enjoy the benefits of adulthood; or forced him to do something, saying that it is time to done away with children's privileges. This often leads to "teenage rebellion" when adolescent tries all sorts of ways to prove that he in fact is adult. He begins to perceive his parents as controlling power, which (in the eyes of teenager) has lost its legitimacy. As a result, being unable to get out of parental control, teenager begins searching such spheres of life where he still can demonstrate his authority at least over his own body. We can assume that early sexual activity, typical for our time, can be explained by this adolescent desire for power as an attribute of adulthood.
