I am a British freelance translator with a background in and
passion for medicine and pharmaceuticals, translating a variety of different
texts from French and Italian into English.
I have over six years’ translation experience and
continuously strive to expand my knowledge of my specialisms.
Before becoming a full-time translator, I worked as a
pharmacovigilance officer for a large, international pharmaceutical company. In
this role, I wrote and worked with documents such as PSURs, RMPs, SmPCs, PILs
and AE report forms as well as clinical trial documentation, giving me an in-depth knowledge of the pharmacovigilance
sector.
As well as pharmacovigilance texts, I also translate all
types of medical texts with a special interest in cardiology and radiology.
I also have experience translating a variety of documents
and texts for non-profit organisations such as UNICEF, Première Urgence
International and Translators Without Borders.
