My name is Joke and I am a 28-year-old woman from Belgium. As a Belgian I enjoyed a good quality language training in high school in Latin, Greek, Dutch, French, English and German. I also obtained a higher degree in Applied Linguistics (Translation/Interpretation) in Dutch, English and Italian. I continually strive to upkeep my languages and learn new ones through study and travel, such as Spanish. In my youth I have won multiple language and spelling competitions, I have been active as a journalist in my school's news paper, as a critic in my cultural centre and as a secretary for my student club. Among my recent work is the translation of a children's book on autism, called 'The Mouse and The Cobra', alongside online translation, proofreading, copywriting and training.
