I have been a full-time freelance English to Polish, Polish to English translator for 8 years. The beginnings of my career and great adventure with translation can be traced back to 2012. Back then, I already did plenty of notable translation work, including translation of a medical paper in neonatal care, or menus, customer correspondence and offers for a five-star hotel in Cracow, Poland. In 2012, I was awarded a degree of licencjat in the field of English philology from Adam Mickiewicz University, Faculty of English, Poznań, Poland. In 2014, I was awarded a professional title of magister, professional status of English philologist from that same University. As part of my second cycle degree studies, I completed a specialization programme in translation, including subtitling. In 2014, my professional translation career started. I worked as an in-house translator and proofreader for a well-known Polish translation agency. Then, in 2015, I decided to embark on a business venture of my own and I officially started a business activity. Since that time, I have cooperated with numerous translation agencies and I have completed exciting translation and subtitling projects for clients from Poland and abroad. Although I specialise in law, I am quite diverse in my interests and the texts I translate are truly diversified. I cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
