I am a freelance translator based in Dortmund, Germany.
After graduating from Münster university with a Master's degree in contemporary history, I worked for a large listed British game company as an in-house translator for three years. In this position I participated in the translation of various fantasy and sci-fi themed books, dozens of magazine issues and content for the company's web store.
I have been almost exclusively working in game localization since going freelance in 2015. I particpated in dozens of projects, from small indie games to AAA titles, and I'd really like to tell you about them, but, alas, all my work is under NDA. I am familiar with translating all kinds of text you may come across in game projects, be it dialogue, quest and/or descriptional texts or UI strings.
Apart from that I am also always interested in translation jobs in the fields of history, philosophy and board games.
Feel free to get in touch via LinkedIn or Xing if you are interested in networking.
