EN, FR>ES translator
and terminology manager
with an SDL certification in MT post-editing
After completing an undergraduate degree in English and a master's degree on teaching foreign languages, I obtained an MA in translation from the University of Manchester, with a final score of distinction, the highest award.
I have since collaborated as a volunteer translator for TEDx and other non-profits and I have worked as a terminologist in the translation department of the World Intellectual Organisation (Geneva) and the Terminology Coordination Unit (TermCoord) of the European Parliament (Luxembourg).
Given my academic background, I am particularly familiar with the fields of linguistics
. Furthermore, During my academic and professional life I developed strong linguistic skills and became acquainted with the style and terminology institutional
texts. My work as a terminologist has required constant research on terms belonging to the fields of medicine, chemistry
, as well as human rights
and international and institutional affairs
