My name is Francesco Capaci and I am an Italian translator based in London, UK.
I have studied “Linguistic Mediation Science” and obtained a degree as interpreter and translator at the University of Palermo “Centro Masterly”, for both the English and French languages. During my training at the University I have been focusing on translations subjects dealing with software manuals, technical hardware and music instrument specific brochures. In addition to this I have deeply studied consecutive/simultaneous and chuchotage interpretation. Furthermore, I have studied in California at the EF School taking a diploma in Advanced English.
I am very interested in the video games and software localization fields, firstly due to the fact that I do love playing videogames and secondly because I do love the field of translation and localisation.
I have already gained experience in the QA and testing localisation sector as well as in the translation field working both as a functionality game tester and as a localisation tester at VMC. In addition to it I also gained experience in leading and managing the testing process of websites and apps in another company.
