Passionate LGBTQI+ translator who loves to help people connect through language
Between May and June of 2019, I walked about 650km along the Camino de Santiago from Lisbon to Spain in the search for my true calling in life. What I discovered was that my mission is to support projects that promote true change worldwide through language. I strive to be part of the change that I see the world so desperately needs and support efforts to make the world a better place, for example in areas such as gender equality, education, health, human rights, and dignity.
I am a German-Brazilian (since 2014) specialized in the translation of texts from German, Portuguese, English, and Spanish into Portuguese and German. My main field of work is technical translation, including manuals and reports, especially for sustainability projects. I also work with other fields such as marketing, legal, and finance.
My personal passion is literary translation, as I have also translated three books (one fiction and two non-fiction). - A third one about the Camino de Santiago is currently in the making.
Other than that I translate and support subjects such as LGBTQI+, feminism, human rights, and gender equality. A last fun fact: in 2020 I have hiked already around 2,500 km.
