I'm dyslexic, but if you keep reading you'll find out why this makes me a better translator. First of all, it must be understood that the process of decoding (reading, listening)is different from that of encoding (writing, speaking).

My decoding processing is intact, that is, I understand as well as anyone. However my encoding processing fails. It is incredibly frustrating to have ideas in your mind and not be able to express them. It took me the first twenty years of my life to master my mother tongue so that I could express even the most complex thoughts. This effort made me specialize in Philosophy of Language, and thanks to this you can be sure that:

*My translations are especially natural, since the decoding-recoding flow is broken: First I have the idea and them I take indirect mental paths in order to be ablo to encode again.

*I only translate into my mother tongue: Spanish.

*I have an enormous perseverance, an eagerness to overcome and I am a hard worker.

Other great features that I share with dyslexics are: great curiosity, ability to adapt to different points of view and situations, mental agility (the brain of dyslexics works four to ten times faster than the typical brain).

So don't hesitate: contact me and put a dyslexic in your translation.
