  • I am a certified Italian native translator from English to Italian and from Italian into English. I moved from Italy  to the US in 1998, starting my translation business by working for Fiat.  I have been working as a translator for over 25 years, after graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature at the Istituto Universitario Orientale of Naples.I also earned my post-graduate certification as a translator and interpreter for the EN>IT and IT>EN pairs from SSIT (Italy).
  • Among my clients are high profile companies and numerous agencies in the US, Canada and Europe, like IBM, Laerdal, Biomet, GoDaddy, Novartis, Ivey, Avast, Apple, the US Department of Justice, Intel etc.
  • In the past I have worked for an Italian law firm, where I have worked as a paralegal for 5 years and as an English instructor for the nurses' curriculum at the Hospital Antonio Cardarelli of Naples, Italy.
  • I have participated in marketing projects (statistics, surveys, localization, FAQs) for many US and Canadian companies, both as translator and as editor.
  • I have experience with subtitling, in particular for corporate videos and advertising shots.
  • Lately I have increased my activity as an editor in the medical tools and pharmaceutical fields. I have been trained to teach medical English in Italy, where I taught English training courses for nurses and am currently following a series of seminars and webinars on and other sites in order  to update my knowledge of pharmaceutical subjects and clinical trials.
  •  I work with SDL Studio 2019, memoQ 8.6, Idiom Worldserver 9.0, SubMagic, SDLX and MemSource Web.
