Source text - Spanish ¿Quien no quiere ir a visitar el estadio mas grande de fútbol de Rio de Janeiro?.Uno de los mejores monumentos que el mundo tiene para ofrecernos en cuanto a fútbol, ¿como no querer conocer este estadio por el que pasaron tantos de nuestros ídolos?.El maracana es un espectáculo que nos llena la vista con sus increíbles estructuras. las cuales podemos conocer a través de paseos guiados, que nos llevan a conocer por dentro este increíble edificio y todas sus historias.
El estadio Jornalista Mario Filho mas conocido como Maracana, fue el estadio mas grande del mundo durante mucho tiempo y fue sede de la copa del mundo de 1950 y también fue anfitriona de la ultima copa del mundo en 2014, en ambos casos las finales se jugaron en este estadio.
En días que no hay espectáculos de fútbol podemos asistir al museo del maracana en donde vamos a tener acceso a las partes del estadio tanto externas como internas, donde tendremos la oportunidad de conocer los vestuarios y caminos por donde estuvieron tantos de nuestros cracks del fútbol.
Al ingresar comenzaremos por la calzada de la fama, que se encuentra enfrente de un gigantesco hall de entrada vip, aquí encontraremos paneles temáticos donde nos contaran parte de la historia del maracana, así sera el principio de nuestro paseo, dentro del mismo encontraremos, el hall de entrada de la fama, en donde haremos el ingreso y encontraremos exposiciones temáticas con posters en las paredes.
De ahí pasaremos hacia la pared de las mas grandes hinchadas y equipos, donde encontraremos una pared con un homenaje a la hinchada de Botafogo, con fotos históricas del equipo y sus grandes ídolos, y claro de todas las mas grandes hinchadas del fútbol encontraremos fotos aquí.Luego nos encontraremos con el mural de la fama en el cual encontraremos, una pared con fotos y posters de los mas grandes artistas que pasaron por el estadio, entre ellos Paul MaCartney, Frank Sinatra, The rolling Stones, Madonna, entre otros. Por ultimo en este paseo veremos la placa de moldes de pie de la fama, donde encontraremos las marcas grabadas en placas de bronce con la huella de los jugadores mas grandes de la historia.
Luego pasaremos por el túnel de entrada al campo, después de la visita a los vestuarios, recorremos un túnel en que finalmente abre hacia al Maracana. En las paredes del túnel veremos posters con las fotos de todos los ídolos del fútbol mundial en acción, tratando de mantener la pelota o atraparla, una escena de fotos increíble, tomadas de momentos imponentes del fútbol.
Desde aquí pasaremos a las gradas, estaremos en 3 tipos de entradas, la entrada por la que salen los jugadores, después estaremos en la parte de las gradas donde van las familias de los jugadores o personas importantes, y después veremos el estadio desde la grada donde las hinchadas se juntan cada fin de semana.
Por ultimo y queda lo mejor, entraremos al campo de fútbol!! donde nos daremos cuenta la inmensidad del campo, un gigantesco tapete verde del mejor césped, con 2 postes gigantes en las esquinas por arcos.
Translation - English Who wouldn’t like to visit the biggest stadium in Rio de Janeiro? Maracana is one of the greatest football monuments that Brazil has to offer, so who would miss the opportunity to stop by this amazing arena where many football stars have come around? By taking a tour inside, we can get to know the building large structures as well as its history.
The Jornalista Mario Filho stadium, aka Maracana, have been considered the biggest arena in the world for a long time. It was a FIFA World Cup venue in 1950 as well as in the last World Cup in 2014. In both cases, the finals were played there.
As I mentioned before, the stadium has its own museum. If we take the tour, we will be able to enjoy a delightfull journey inside Maracana, getting to know the locker rooms, the arena Once inside, we start with the tour of fame.
Here we’ll find a wall with thematic panels that tell us the story of the place. In the beggining of our journey, we’ll also find a photographic exposition of football teams. Thers’s a whole wall dedicated to the Botafogo fans, with pictures of the different teams and idols that were part of this club. There’s anothe wall of fame dedicated to important artists that have come to the arena, such as Paul MaCartney, Frank Sinatra, The rolling Stones, and Madonna.
At the end of this tour, we’ll find the players foot prints carved in bronze sheets. Afterwards, we’ll visit the locker rooms and we’ll take the tunnel that leads us to the field. In such tunnel, we’ll find pictures of the current greatest football players in action, a scenary of moving shots of the most important moments in football.
Once in the field, we’ll visit the stands were players’ families and VIPs sit and also the ones were fans gather every weekend.Last, but not least, we’ll get into the actual field, the huge green course where all the magic happens.

La presente investigación explora las variables que se entretejen y las posibles tensiones que atraviesan a las prácticas docentes desplegadas cotidianamente en el aula de Historia del nivel medio. Además, procura establecer líneas de análisis que permitan identificar la existencia de elementos estables y cambiantes en las culturas escolares a partir de indagar las prácticas, percepciones y opiniones de los docentes, actores fundamentales de las transformaciones educativas. Para esto, discurre entre dos campos del saber: los estudios culturales que han colocado al accionar de los sujetos como motor de cambio de las culturas escolares y la etnografía como enfoque privilegiado que permite acceder a las prácticas, aspectos de particular relevancia para comprender el cotidiano áulico, más allá de lo impuesto o documentado.
La inmersión en la pluralidad de las prácticas docentes permitió determinar la existencia de tres componentes básicos que convergen en la conformación de las mismas: la formación inicial, la experiencia adquirida y los documentos curriculares. Tales elementos adquieren sentido dentro de una realidad áulica que evidencia la existencia de prácticas frecuentes cuya esencia es el desarrollo de explicaciones dialogadas. En general, son motorizadas por la realización de interrogantes guiados por los docentes. Asimismo, hallamos que los profesores ponen en marcha no sólo lo que consideran relevante para fomentar el aprendizaje sino también aquello que es posible desplegar dentro de los diversos contextos educativos. En esta búsqueda, emplean diversos materiales como sostenes de las tareas cotidianas, albergando sentidos y criterios diversos. Especial atención revisten aquellos materiales puestos a disposición por el advenimiento de la cultura digital y cuya incorporación en el aula ha tensionado la tarea docente al punto de desafiar sus fundamentos. En este contexto, se halla la existencia de prácticas plurales y en tensión que adquieren particular relevancia en la exploración de los factores que confluyen en la enseñanza de la Historia hoy.

Translation - English Abstract
This investigation explores the merging variables and possible tensions generated in the everyday teaching of History in high school classrooms. It also seeks to establish lines of analysis to identify the existences of stable and variable elements in school cultures by means of investigating teachers` methods, perceptions, and opinions, which are essential to achieving educational transformations. For this purpose, this study considers two fields of knowledge: cultural studies that have positioned the subjects` actions as a force of change in school cultures, and the ethnography as the main focus for accessing the teaching activities; being both of particular relevance when it comes to understanding the everyday classroom beyond the imposed and documented facts.
The immersion in the plurality of the teaching activities led to determine the existence of three basic components that converge in the shaping of the aforementioned: initial education, gained experience, and curricular documents. Each element acquires meaning in the everyday classroom showing the existence of frequent activities that focus on the development of dialogued explanations. In general, they are triggered and led by teachers by means of questions. In this way, teachers carry out what they consider important to encourage the learning process and display every aspect related to the diverse educational contexts. For this purpose they use different types of materials as support for the everyday tasks, carrying meaning and diverse criteria. Material related to the emergence of the digital culture receives special attention and its incorporation to the classroom has created tension in the teaching task to the point of challenging its basis. In this context lays the existence of plural activities and activities in tension which is of particular importance to the investigation of factors that come together in the nowadays teaching of History.

I am a Spanish - English translator based in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. I studied English Translation at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Argentina.
I have been working as a translator for 8 years and my last project is a Website called Rio Hunter. In this project, I have translated and corrected all the English posts and updates, and also the tour guide which counts with 100 pages approx. I am still part of the Rio Hunter team, working for hand in hand with the developer, creating new content and uploading it to the website. It has been a year and a half and we plan to keep on working on it.
I also specialize on technical translations, working on thesis and investigations from graduate students.
As I have been living in Rio for more than 3 years, I have learned Portuguese perfectly and I am able to translate from Portuguese to Spanish and English.
