I m a native Spanish speaker born in Chile. I'm fluent in English due to my degree as a translator and interpreter. I did my studies at Universidad de Playa Ancha, located in Valparaíso. I specialize in literary translations, but also I am great at history, sciences and art related texts. I got my degree presenting a thesis involving XIX and XX American poetry, and my interpreting degree was related with stem cells and regeneration. I've worked as a freelance translator for students translating numerous articles, chapters of books and papers related with various topics ranging from history, bioethics, archaeology, poetry, non-fiction novels, and occupational therapy, just to mention some. Computational skills include basic knowledge of InDesign, SubtitleWorkshop, Aegisub, mateCAT and smartCAT.
Currently I'm volunteering for TED Conferences as a subtitler, and for Translators Without Borders as a translator and proofreader.
