In college, unsure of what to study, I was encouraged to study what I loved. There seemed to be only one answer to that question: language. Many times I wished I could acquire limitless degrees in every language I wanted to learn, and just continue learning forever. However, forced to choose, I chose French. Already a native Spanish speaker, French seemed like a versatile option. I studied on, took courses in literature, syntax, and translation. The study of linguistics will forever be endlessly fascinating to me.
My expertise in language has focused mainly on topics of interest that I studied in school, and topics that I find personally interesting and reference most in daily life. I studied art history as well, so the arts have always been near to my heart, and literature, theater, and cinema top the list. However, learning is my greatest love, so no topic is taboo or too difficult to put in words.
