I am a French freelance translator specialized in the medical field, and I am looking for new projects and new contacts.

I see myself as a very accurate, responsible and reliable person. I am also very passionate by languages, and consequently by my job. I am very curious and that is why I chose to specialize myself in the medical field, as it is a very large field in which there is always something new to learn.

I can translate from English and Italian to French, which is my native language.

I got my Bachelor in Applied Foreign Languages (English and Italian) in 2015. I learnt to translate documents of several kinds: legal, political, economic, commercial, touristic and cultural. I also had the opportunity to train myself as an interpreter (FR>IT) in the arts and political fields. I made an internship of two months in 2015 at LINEA SARL, in France: I was in charge of the translation (FR>EN & FR>IT) of the new website of the data storage software called BAJOO.

As mentioned above and after getting my Bachelor's Degree, I decided to specialize myself in the medical field. I got my Master's Degree in International Communication in Health Sciences in 2017.

Before getting my Master's Degree, I made an internship of four months at Implantcast France, from April to July 2017. This internship made me learn a lot about orthopedics, as I was in charge of the translations of surgical techniques for orthopedic implants (EN>FR). This is something I really enjoyed to do, as I found this field of medicine to be particularly interesting. I can say that this internship gave me the opportunity to get a strong knowledge of orthopedics. I also realized my work has a great value, as my translations are helping Implantcast France in expanding their activity and collaborations: I was the first translator to work for them.

Also during 2017, I developed a bilingual terminological glossary (EN/FR) on nanomedicine, which made me learn a lot of vocabulary in this field.

I have translated several medical-related documents in areas such as surgery (orthopedic and others), dermatology, the labral acetabular pathology and I have also been collaborating with the European Commission in the area of Research and Innovation (CORDIS) since november 2018. Among the biggest projects, in terms of words number, I translated a multiple-choice questionnaire of about 78,000 words intended for students in medicine from English into French and the new ALL loyalty program Training Guide (ACCOR Hotels) from English into French (about 26,000 words).
