Young traveler who has always been fascinated with languages, I have decided to make a vocation out of my passion.
Native French, I also speak English, Spanish and Korean fluently. I have a bachelor degree in Korean language and civilization and lived in Seoul for about 2 years. I also lived in the USA for two years and spent the last year and a half between Spain en South America. I have chosen to travel as a way of life and to familiarize myself with different cultures and languages.
After university, I have worked in a Korean travel agency in Paris for a year. I assisted Korean clients and provided solutions to some of their issues, providing interpreting services for them at restaurants, hotels and shops. I then moved to Spain and South America and started working as a front desk receptionist at different Hotels. I have extensive experience in communicating on a daily basis in Korean, English, French, and Spanish.
I have always been interested in translation and as I practiced it, it became my passion.
My love for details and the fact that translation allows me to take time to faithfully replicate the meaning of a sentence from another language into French is the reason why I choose to follow this professional path.
To ensure the quality of my translations, I only translate into French, my mother tongue.
Until now I have mostly translated documents voluntarily for music blogs, a small French NGO working in Cameroon, Africa (which I am a member of) or while working in the travel agency and in hotels. Whether it was tourist pamphlets, emails and brochures from marketing companies, content from the NGO website or song lyrics and Korean movie scripts.
I acquired a good amount of vocabulary in every language I speak by reading literature as well as newspapers and by watching a lot of movies from when I was a young child.
I am a perfectionist and responsible individual and I invest myself totally in everything I do. I am also willing to work flexible hours.
