I grew up in an English-speaking home environment and was home-schooled in English from elementary school to high school. Having grown up in Taiwan, I am also fluent in Chinese and passed the Test of Chinese language as a Foreign Language at Level 5 (Fluency). From the time I was a junior high school student to the present, I have been writing regularly for several on-line inspirational magazines and websites, including children's stories and pod-casts for teenagers. Here is a link to my on-line portfolio:

While studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, I helped classmates and professors to translate application materials, dissertation abstracts, and research papers from Chinese to English. At National Cheng Kung University History Museum I received training to become a tour guide. I translated the Chinese material from these classes  into English and was able to give tours in both English and Chinese. In addition, I gained experience in translating legal documents when I translated student club regulations for NCKU Student Development and Activities Division.

I have passed the Linguitronics Chinese-to-English translation test in the fields of advertising and humanities. My fields of expertise are in linguistics and literature, but due to my wide range of experiences, I can also translate in the fields of art, history, tourism, advertising, and law (general).
