Bio

I have three years of experience in literary translations and five years in subtitling.

I graduated in Law and History and I am currently a researcher in the area of Cinema, History and Media. I believe I can understand specific legal terms as well as terms related to the media universe.

Moreover, within the religious scope, I have had experience with theological texts for at least ten years. My specialties are Missiology, Eschatology and Christian Apologetics. I have worked on the version of songs and pieces. I am not fluent in Greek, Aramaic or Latin, but I have good notions of the three languages within the theological sphere, and I search very carefully for translation debates consistent with the current thinking of the Christian Church (both Protestant and Catholic).

As far as other areas are concerned, I currently work on the translation of a Chinese web novel called Evil Emperor's Wild Consort, working with the English (British) version for Portuguese (Brazilian). I am working on chapter 210 (from 1800) and I am the only translator responsible for this project. This work is aimed at the youth audience as it has a simple language. Daily I translate 3000 words per chapter of this webnovel, which allows me to have free time and focus on new projects.

In addition to this translation, I reviewed and edited the original Brazilian Webnovel, War of the Nine Worlds, the first hundred chapters of the webnovel of the Library of Heaven's Path, and the first thirty chapters of the Red Storm Web site. All Saikai Scan projects.

In History my specialty is Cultural History, but the Marxist terminologies (New Left Review and other schools) are not strange to me and I understand the most current translations and debates referring to the texts of other theoretical lines.

I am currently starting a latu sensu course in Religious Science Teaching.
