Source text - English Seventeen years after the international community toppled the Taliban regime, Afghanistan remains a fragile country. With a struggling economy, a deteriorating security situation, and widespread corruption, the picture looks grim. Amid these challenges, it is easy to lose hope. But all is not lost. Afghanistan’s oft-portrayed troubles represent one side of our story, a limited perspective that fails to capture the generational transformation – civic, political, and cultural – that has taken place.
Modern Afghanistan has produced a new generation of young leaders — men and women — that is taking charge to transform the war-torn country for the better through an unwavering commitment to its success and survival.
Translation - Persian (Farsi) بعداز گذشت هفده سال از سقوط طالبان توسط جامعه جهانی، افغانستان بازهم یک کشور ناامن باقی می ماند. اقتصاد ضعیف، افزایش نا امنی، و فساد گسترده از جمله عوامل اند که این کشور را به بحران کشانیده است. چنین چالش ها میتواند امید به اینده بهتر را به آسانی از بین ببرد. اما نباید فراموش کرد که همه چیز از دست نرفته، زیرا مشکلات افغانستان تنها یک جهت از داستان را تبارز میدهد. تغیرات بنیادی مدنی، سیاسی، و فرهنگی نیز درین کشور بوقع پیوسته که از نظر عامه بدور باقی مانده و به آن توجه نشده است. افغانستان جدید یک نسل از رهبران جوان را پرورش داده که متشکل از مردان و زنان متعد برای بازسازی کشورشان می باشند. رهبران که همواره کوشش دارند تا این کشور جنگ زده را بسوی اینده بهتر سوق دهند.

I have worked as a translator and supervisor for
the translator’s department with BBC-Persian for 5 years. I have also worked as an English editor for the education projects of AEPO in Afghanistan. During my work as a supervisor for the translators, I used to review and proofread the work of three translators and coordinated more than 30
pages of translation in two languages per day.
I have an MBA with a
concentration in social entrepreneurship from Colorado State University, and
work experience in translation, project management, and business development for more than five years. In
addition, I have volunteered as an interpreter for the IRC Sacramento where I interpreted in the trainings, phone calls and one on one sessions.
