I'm Panamanian and I grew up speaking English and Spanish natively. Panama
was "Americanized" due to the Administration of the Panama Canal by the United States. So,
my life was developed by these languages. I was raised in a “Spanglish” world
so I decided to study/work/live abroad.
For this reason, I moved to the United States where I earned my bachelor’s degree
in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University. Upon completion, I
received my master’s degree in Mining Engineering from The University of
British Columbia (Canada).
The Mining/Chemical industry opened my eyes to the translation world. As an
Expat, I had lived in the United States, Canada, UK, Spain, and Panama. Hence,
I was submerged in a world of constant translation of reports, manuals and
research articles to live interpretation.
I have 6 years of official translation experience, specialized in Chemical/Mining Engineering and Technical documentation. Also, I had translated jobs in the business,
law/legal, marketing, academics, and accounting fields.
I offer the following services: translation,
editing and proofreading.
I use the following software: Microsoft
Office and Matecat.
