Bio
Eager, enthusiast and positive young woman keen to pursue a career within translation and interpreting.
Originally from Italy, I moved to the UK in 2013 to master my knowledge of English, which I began learning at the age of 6. I fell in love with it straight away and understood that languages were a passion. At secondary and high schools I picked up Spanish and French as well, then at university I also started Portuguese.
After spending a year in South America (Brazil, Bolivia, Peru) as an exchange student, I graduated in Modern Languages from the University of Essex with a 1st class degree. While at university I mastered my knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese (C2), French (B2), and also started studying Translation, Interpreting and Subtitling (EN <> IT).
I am now enrolled at the University of Westminster studying a master's in Translation and Interpreting (EN > IT) to complete my academic background, which has allowed me to develop exceptional knowledge of language structure, clear communication both written and spoken, intercultural approaches and mindset.
I have recently started working as a freelance translator for a private client, my combinations are EN < > IT - ES, PT > IT, EN.
