Bio

I am a UK based Japanese native speaker. 

I have experience translating for Education, Art, IT, Media sector so far.

Before becoming freelance in 2018, I worked as a full-time Technical Writer/Translator for IT company for 7 months. Prior to that, I was Product Marketing Specialist for a multi-cultural manufacturer in the UK, using Japanese and English daily for 18 years. I gained good knowledge of electronic components and internal translation experience there.

Before moving to the UK, I have 6 years' teaching experience in primary schools in Japan.

I have master's degree in translation, specialising in translating from English to Japanese.

As a runner myself and a big fan of sports, I am interested in building up my translation work portfolio in the sports industry as well.
