معاً للحدّ من استخدام البلاستيك
بلاء البلاستيك يشغل العالم، لما للتلوث البلاستيكي من آثار على النباتات والحيوانات والبيئة ككل. وفي نهاية المطاف إنه بلاء علينا نحن البشر، فهو يشقّ طريقه الى مائدة طعام الانسان من خلال سلة الغذاء حسبما أفاد تقرير لبرنامج جمعية الأمم المتحدة للبيئة.
بعد أن تخطى تعداد سكان المعمورة السبعة مليارات وأنتجوا أكثر من 300 مليون طن من البلاستيك، أعلنت الأمم المتحدة الحرب على التلوث الذي يسببه استخدم البلاستيك وحثت الحكومات على اعتماد سياسات تحدّ من استعماله. دول ستفرض هذا العام ضريبة على أكياس البلاستيك التي تستخدم مرة واحدة، وأخرى تعهّدت بالقضاء عليها بالكامل. وفي حين أنه تبدو أمور مماثلة بمثابة انتصارات صغيرة، فإن مهمة محاربة التلوث البيئي تتطلب تعميم هذه الثقافة في دول العالم أجمع وتغيير عادات الشعوب.

Together to limit the use of plastic
Plastic use represents a global concern as it is harmful to the plants, animals, and the environment. It is a concern for all of us as humans, for its impact involves the food we eat, according makes its way to the human food table through the food basket, according to a report published by the United Nations Environment Assembly.
As the world's population has exceeded seven billion and has produced more than 300 million tons of plastic, the United Nations is declaring war on pollution caused by plastic and is urging the governments to adopt policies that limit its use. There are countries that will impose tax on single-use plastic bags this year, and others have pledged to eliminate them. While these matters present small victories, the task of combating environmental pollution requires the spread of this culture all over the world and the change of people’s habits.
