Born on February 11, 2000, in Bonoua, Côte d’Ivoire, I am a dedicated translator with a strong academic background and substantial professional experience. I hold a Licence in Translation from the High School for Interpreters and Translators (ESIT-CI) and have a High School Diploma in Literature from Bonoua High School.
With four years of experience translating between English and French, I have a particular preference and strength in translating into French. My translation work spans various sectors, including finance, legal, health, marketing, and customs. Notable projects include translating a 154-page Facility Agreement, over 500 pages of activity reports for Management Sciences for Health, and numerous editions of the Orange Côte d’Ivoire Newsletter.
In addition to translation, I have two years of experience in simultaneous interpretation. I have interpreted for high-profile events and organizations, such as UNIDO, the German Chamber of Commerce, and the ECOWAS Conformity Assessment Committee. My work in this area emphasizes telecommunication, women’s empowerment, and agricultural standardization.
I also specialize in audiovisual translation. As a freelance translator for Cinékita CI, I have worked on diverse projects, including series, documentaries, movies, and TV shows. My skills extend to transcription, time coding, and dialogue synchronization using tools like Synchronos and Capella.
Currently, I serve as a translator at SuperLingua in Abidjan, where I manage high-level conferences, oversee document translations, and lead group translation projects. My role involves event management and the supervision of conference and meeting equipment installation.
I am proficient in various computer applications, including SDL Trados, Aegisub, and Subtitle Edit. I am fluent in English and have a beginner’s proficiency in Spanish.
