Source text - English In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has developed rapidly. It is an increasingly important part of our daily lives and has applications in a wide range of areas, such as voice assistants, targeted online advertising, platforms and so on. These include voice assistants, targeted online advertising, platforms, social networks and more. But AI is also being used in the healthcare sector, in finance, in transport, in manufacturing and in education, to name just a few. AI is a broad term that encompasses a range of techniques and approaches with the aim of creating machines that are capable of performing tasks that typically require human-level intelligence. These tasks can include image and speech recognition, language processing, decision-making and troubleshooting.
But it's worth asking what negative effects AI could have on our society, for all its benefits.
Translation - French L'intelligence artificielle, plus communément abrégée « IA » a connu une forte expansion au cours de la dernière décennie. Elle s’est imposée dans la vie quotidienne de l’humanité et occupe aujourd’hui une place importante et sans cesse croissante. Par la même occasion, elle est devenue incontournable dans de nombreux secteurs d’activité. Nous pouvons citer entre autre : l’assistance vocale, les plateformes, le commerce électronique, les réseaux sociaux, les publicités ciblées en lignes, etc. L’IA est par ailleurs utilisée, entre autres, dans le milieu médical pour la prise en charge des patients, dans le milieu de la finance, du transport, de la manufacture ou encore dans l’enseignement. Il s’agit donc d’un concept très large qui regroupe un ensemble de techniques et d’approches dont le but est d’utiliser les machines/robots pour effectuer une multitude de tâches qui requièrent généralement une intelligence de niveau humain. Parmi ces tâches nous pouvons citer : la reconnaissance d’image et de paroles, le traitement du langage, la prise de décisions et la résolution de problèmes.
Cependant, malgré tous les aspects positifs de l’IA, il est important de se poser la question de savoir quel est son impact négatif dans la société actuelle.
