“A marvelous translation, very readable and true to tone.” Professor Zoë Strother, Department of Art History and Archaeology, Columbia University

“Please thank Richard for being so conscientious about this translation.”

“I have been particularly impressed with the quality and style of the translation
from a very lively and often idiosyncratic French text, which seems to me to have captured perfectly the author’s flair and evident love of the subject.”

“I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed the translation of the SPIEGEL article. If you have not yet put down this translator as one we like, please do so immediately!”

“Vielen Dank, du warst wieder einmal schnell und die Texte sind großartig übersetzt.”
