Activity as a translator
I have been translating since 2003 and I am currently working for the Economic Office of the Spanish Embassy in Bucharest.
I also worked as a Spanish/English/Romanian in-house translator for a group of companies owned and managed by Spanish investors, where I translated mainly legal texts (although I have also dealt with fields like: economy, textiles, education, linguistics, advertisement, tourism, IT&C, cosmetics, civil engineering etc.).
My experience also includes an IT support technician position with a well-known multinational company.
I am a hardworking, determined person, eager to expand my area of expertise and to become one of the best professionals in this field.
I pride myself on striving to render the source text into the target language faithfully while adapting it if the context and purpose of the text allow it.
I try to stay updated and improve my knowledge by means of constant reading and analysis of very diverse texts, so my work is always the results of careful planning and documentation, although I am quite an imaginative and spontaneous person.
