Bio
My name is Alessandra Festa and I am Italian.
I'm graduated from a three year degree in translation and languages, these being English and French, with a further two year specialisation purely in translation at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome.
I have started working as freelance translator in 2007 and since then I have translated different kind of texts from different fields of specialization (Architecture, Arts & Literature, Economics, Information Technology, Legal).
In order to develop my professional skills as a translator and to have an insight into the different ways in which businesses are run from country to country, in October 2008 I moved to London where I attended an internship at the translation company Language Connect from the 2nd of March to the 30th of April.
Keywords: literature, computer, children's books, tourism, medical field, economic field, proofreading
