One look at LinkedIn and you’d be forgiven for thinking the world is full of ‘passionate’ ‘enthusiastic’ ‘thought leaders’ who have ‘concrete track records’ showing their ‘creative muscle’. Read this once and it is amusing, but if you’re are getting dozens of CVs a week crammed with clichés and exaggeration then you learn to bin those that seem unreliable

Bio
I have been working in the languages sector for 10 years now and my education background (high-school and university) pertains to this sector too.
I would like to point out my experience in translating (from English and/or French into Romanian) texts for the European Union (via translation agencies such as Xplanation NV, Euroscript Certitude, Diamondo, SDL Translations), including command of both source and target language specific terms from different fields. My native language is Romanian, which was also the language of my studies.
Throughout my career as a translator I dealt with texts from various subject matters and fields such as statistics/surveys (Eurobarometers), Business products, Chemicals, Consumer products, Energy, Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Government, History, Tourism, Education.
Moreover, my skills in using Office-based programs and computer-assisted translation (including SDL Studio 2014, Trados Tag Editor and Workbench) and permanent access to Internet further help me in achieving quality translation and, most important, meeting deadlines.
