I am a Rhodes Scholar reading Law at St. Hilda's College at Oxford University. My previous education includes a First Class Honours Philosophy BA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. I have been freelance translating since 2007 from both German and French to English. I have lived in both Montreal and Freiburg, Germany for extended periods of time and am fully fluent in both languages. I possess a French Immersion (IB) Diploma from Holy Heart in St. John's, NL, and a German Language Certificate from the University of Freiburg Sprachlehrinstitut. My background in Philosophy provides an analytic depth to my translation work, in which I specialize in areas of Goverment and Law. My hobbies include playing chess, travelling, fishing, and choral singing.
