Bio

My professional background is in business French and German, and teaching French and German to GCSE and A' Level and business language to professionals. I have translation, proofreading and post-editing experience in a number of technical industries: Oil and Gas, heating, rail, automotive, construction and wastewater treatment. I have also translated tourism information. I have a masters degree in translation and a post-graduate teaching qualification so I am comfortable with academic papers in these areas too.

I have always had a keen interest in computing and keep up-to-date with new technology and will accept work in different formats. I work regularly with Trados, Transcafé and Across and have my own translation memory and glossaries.

I am a professional translator/proofreader who works to the client brief and deadline.
