I am a native English speaker with over 13 years' translation experience. I work from French, Spanish and Jamaican Creole to English and from English to Jamaican Creole. I have several years experience teaching both French and English and I worked for the French Trade Commission at the Embassy of France in Jamaica for 7 years.
Among my accomplishments are: chief translator for Air France's in-flight magazine for the Caribbean "Air France Outremer" (2011-2013) and chief translator for the BECCA/CEIBA freight exchange project (2010-2011).
I am experienced in the following areas: tourism and travel, shipping and maritime, environment, trade, transcription, editing, proofreading, diplomas/certificates, CVs, government protocol, and education.
I am currently completing the MA in Translation (Spanish/French) at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica which focuses on the following areas: institutional, financial, legal, and technical (including medical) translation, as well as management of translation projects.
