As discussed in tender, it will be take in account the rational and economical use of water in the site without competing with local water supply (human, livestock and farming consumption), as well as the preservation of the quality of the water sources.
A minimum of hygiene rules, presented in security manual, in order to control health risks relating to the works and personnel will be implemented on site: it will be used suitable pumps in a good state, control of stagnant water will be taken, etc. Waste water will be treated in a compact unit and special care will be taken in final discharge in order to minimise the impacts.
In order to avoid discharges or disposal of used water, mud, grout, bituminous products, pollutants of any kind, into natural sources of water all the maintenance will be carried out in areas specially prepared for this purpose.
According the tender book the water supply required for the works must respect the needs of the local population, livestock and fauna as provided for before the works, whether it is by surface water or ground water such that the village aquifers must not be over-exploited. This will be completely respected in all the sites, during the execution of the works.

Source text - English Overall, the year was marked by low rainfall and relatively fresh temperatures, except for the early summer heat wave. Indeed, germination, followed by blooming took place two weeks earlier than the year before giving rise to major vegetative growth in late April, early May. This advance was maintained throughout the summer, forcing the initial harvests to start in late August. It was really the persistent drought and a heat wave at the end of June that reduced the average weight of the bunches. In short, quantities almost identical to last year vintage were harvested. Thus, results lowered.
Mainly the Touriga Francesa, Barroca and misturo grapes were those that suffer most from the weather conditions.
Rergarding old vines, the grapes picked in September have resulted in more mature and complex wines.
The harvest, was extremly small, presenting an excellent selection of fresh, ripe, fruty and elegant wines with outstanding concentration and density.
Translation - French Dans l’ensemble, l’année a été marquée par une faible pluviometrie et des températures relativement fraiches, à l’exception d’un début d’été caniculaire. De fait, le bourgeonnement puis la floraison sont intervenus deux semaines plus tôt que l'an dernier, donnant lieu à de grands développements végétatifs fin avril, début mai. Cette avance s’est maintenue sur l’été, obligeant à démarrer les vendanges fin août. Mais ce sont bien la sécheresse persistante et un épisode caniculaire fin juin qui ont réduit le poids moyen des grappes. Au final, les quantités vendangées sont quasi identiques à celles de l'an dernier. En conséquence le rendement a baissé.
Ce sont principalement les cépages Touriga Francesa, Barroca et Mistura qui ont le plus souffert des conditions climatiques.
Les vignes anciennes quant à elles ont été cueillies en septembre et les vins qui en résultent sont plus mûrs et plus lourds.
Les vendanges, petites en volumes, offrent une large palette de vins frais, matures, fruités et élégants avec une concentration et une densité exceptionnelles.
