Bio
Hello! I'll try and condense "me" into a paragraph for ease of reading.. I am a Russian <> English translator and interpreter. English is my native language, however I have attained a nearly native level of Russian fluency. My education background is in Russian with an emphasis on translation/interpretation.

For the past 9 years, I have been employed by the US Department of Defense, through which I have afforded a number of unique opportunities both in the United States. The bulk of my work has been written translation, but we quite often work as consecutive interpreters.

The last 3 years I have been working with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) as it's now known, or the On-site Inspection Agency (OSIA), as it was formerly known. We are responsible for interpretation and translation under the auspices of several treaties: the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START treaty, was in effect until Dec 2009 with Russian, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan), the New START treaty (signed April 2010), the Open Skies treaty.

Aside from our treaties, we support numerous other initiatives to the end of reduction and elimination of various threats around the globe and fulfill all variety of ad-hoc events, from the mundane to the highly visible.

Thank you for reading!
