Global Dialogue on Water, Food and Environment
IWMI is a founding member and a catalyst behind the creation of the Dialogue on Water, Food and Environment - a new international initiative to bring together the agricultural and environmental communities. The aim of the Dialogue is to work towards a knowledge-based consensus between these communities on the present and future needs of water for food production, livelihoods, health and nature in developing countries. The Dialogue is a policy-level initiative whose objective is to provide knowledge to policymakers to help them make informed decisions that allow national and household food security, and equitable water use in agriculture and nature.
