When a piddling little regional soda company gets taken over by Koka Kola, it is considered not only that the little company might expand as a result of greater financial clout, but also that the very image of the company and its product will be improved (thereby helping sales and expansion). But as said above, "there's so little context ..." ("grandeur" is nicely ambiguous though). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2007-11-07 12:17:55 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- "grandeur" as in large (expansion) but also as in grandiose (splendid). |
