Hi Christopher, most people in this language pair use "Shift-JIS" as the default encoding. If you are using something else (here UTF), it would be a good idea to warn others in advance.

Encoding I've had a couple of questions about the encoding of the Japanese text here. I'm posting on a mac which may explain why, but Internet Explorer should have the option to switch encoding in the 'View' menu. Apologies for the inconvenience.
